Regulations for Cemetery Decorations

Dear Friends,
Memory Gardens has tried to establish the fairest set of rules for all situations and earnestly tries to enforce them uniformly. They are not in any way intended to restrain you unduly, but rather to define an orderly plan of care and maintenance.

Your cooperation with these regulations for cemetery decorations will help keep your cemetery beautiful.

We do our best to fill any special needs or requests. Feel free to contact our office with any questions or concerns.

Thank You For Your Cooperation!
The Staff of Memory Gardens

GENERAL INFORMATION

As the cemetery is open to the public, it is very difficult to control the activity of every visitor. We regret that we are unable to guarantee decorations from damage or disappearance.

Prohibited Items:
The following items and any similar items are not allowed at any time and will be removed without notice:

Balloons, Styrofoam, glass, jars, bottles, cans, crockery, statues, lights, ornaments, shepherd hooks, signs, insignias, cards, pictures, toys, pumpkins, scarecrows, Christmas trees over 36”, crushed stone, etc. Similar items include solar lights, whirly gigs, lawn decorations, fencing and trellises.

Vase Cones are available outside of the office at no charge.

Memory Gardens has two Water Stations. One water station is opposite the Office in the Christus Garden. The other water station is located in the Memorylawn Garden to the right of the Chapel.

Planting is not allowed without permission of management.

Funeral Flowers will be removed within three (3) days or less if conditions warrant.

Decorations that become wilted, withered or unsightly or fail to conform to the Regulations for Cemetery Decorations will be removed at the discretion of the Cemetery Personnel without notice. Your decorations will remain as long as their appearance is presentable and they conform to the rules and regulations.

From November 1 to April 14, all Bronze vases must be emptied, turned down into their markers, and may not be used. Vases left upright and later hidden by snow and ice create a safety hazard and can be damaged. The cemetery is not responsible for these damages.
